What They Do

The Center for Civic Innovation (CCI) seeks to push Atlanta to be a smart, equitable, and engaged city by investing in community-driven ideas, supporting social enterprises, and engaging people in dialogue and action. They do this by supporting and investing in people and organizations who are already on the ground with products or services that make the public sector more effective, innovative, and participatory. CCI hosts programs for community based social entrepreneurs at all stages, but focuses primarily on early stage, untested projects.

What We Love

CCI serves as a trust broker between people and local government to strengthen public engagement in our community. They believe that if people are informed, connected, and engaged in a city’s social justice challenges, we will see greater innovation, strategic investment of time and capital, and stronger local public policy.
