What They Do
FRIDA | The Young Feminist Fund is the only youth-led fund focused exclusively on supporting global young feminist activism to advance social justice movements and agendas. Governed and operated by dynamic young feminists from around the globe, FRIDA provides funding for newly established young feminist-led initiatives through a participatory grant-making process – one that puts funding decision power into the hands of applicants. FRIDA works hard to strengthen the capacity of young feminist organizations to raise money and enhance their impact by expanding the commitments of donors and allies to resource these activists and their issues.
What We Love
FRIDA is shifting the paradigm and power-differential of philanthropy in exciting new ways. Moreover, they have the credibility and reach into young feminist movements and initiatives around the world that Kendeda could never hope to access without their partnership.
