What They Do

PCEC safeguards and enhances the lands, water and wildlife in Yellowstone’s northern gateway through community-based engagement and advocacy. PCEC works with Park County, MT residents and leaders to protect and enrich the quality of life in Park County by preserving and restoring rivers, wildlife and landscapes. PCEC is a lead organization working to stop two proposed mines in Park county. The first is on the doorstep of Yellowstone National Park; the second is proposed for Emigrant Peak, one of the most scenic vistas in the Paradise Valley, and a drainage that connects the town of Livingston, MT with Yellowstone.

What We Love

PCEC is working with a broad array of stakeholders—business owners, local elected officials and community leaders—to build a strong community voice for conservation of Park County’s amazing waters, wildlife and wildlands.
