What They Do
Faith in Action is a national community organizing network that gives people the tools that they need to fight for justice and work towards a more equitable society. Their LIVE FREE campaign aims to educate local communities about proven methods for reducing gun violence – mobilizing people of faith and those directly impacted by gun violence to push for the implementation of these methods.
What We Love
Faith in Action believes a social justice revival within faith institutions can help transform policies and practices that perpetuate gun violence and mass incarceration. In partnership with hundreds of congregations, community leaders and movement partners throughout the country, the LIVE FREE Campaign is working to stem the root causes of violence in communities of color and end the criminalization of Black and Brown bodies that tears at the soul of our society.
