What They Do
The Biomimicry Institute empowers people to create nature-inspired solutions for a healthy planet. The Institute’s goal is to make biomimicry a natural part of the design process. The organization accomplishes this by tackling one massive sustainability problem at a time. Its Design Challenges platform mobilizes tens of thousands of networked practitioners to solve the challenge, and provides those practitioners with the tools to begin. The Institute anticipates dozens of new biomimetic innovations will result, creating a healthier world for all.
