What They Do

The Atlanta Botanical Garden seeks to develop and maintain plant collections for display, education, research, conservation, and enjoyment. Year-round programs attract hundreds of thousands to experience native and exotic plants, sculpture and light displays, musical events, youth camps, adult education classes, and more. This treasured cultural institution has a location in Atlanta and a smaller satellite location in Gainesville.

What We Love

Botanical gardens are a gateway to the outdoors, enhancing public appreciation for the natural world and its wonders. Inspired leadership and impressive strategic plans have elevated the Garden well beyond expectations. Attendance and funding have increased dramatically over recent years, making the Garden an important part of Atlanta’s cultural landscape and better able to serve more of its communities.
