What They Do
Fund for a Safer Future is the only donor collaborative that is bringing gun violence prevention funders together to learn from each other and to amplify and align their investments. Founded in 2011, the Fund and its members have made nearly $5 million in grants to date to support efforts to reduce gun violence—including research-based communications, grassroots organizing and grasstops coalition building, policy-oriented research, legal strategies, and state-based efforts.
